Welcome to Group! Introduce Yourself :)

Hey everyone,

I have been a long time follower/reader of FStoppers and have been in love with the new community. Personally, my passion for photography stems from a deep, unhealthy for my wallet/bank account, passion for the automotive world so I thought I would create this group as a place for all of you who share that passion to post...

Tesla Model 3

Haven't formally introduced myself yet to this group... I'm Derek Johnson and a Denver-based Commercial Photographer who specializes in product, fitness, and automotive work. Here's a series that I recently shot and am really excited to share with you all

The Bull

I know these Lamborghini Huracans are so common as supercars but name a better and more reliable supercar that is as customizable as the Huracan.

FDL Technique

Anyone using the FDL Technique (Focused Diffused Lighting) and want to share some shots? Would love to see some more examples of this cool technique. I just love it.

First time shoot cars

Decided to try and shoot my Subaru for the first time. I'm happy with how it turned out, yet I know I could've done a lot of things differently. I would love to hear any advice that you might have on how I can continue to grow.

Ford Fiesta WRC, 2019 Monte-Carlo

Went to my first WRC rally on Friday and it was amazing! We managed to find a pretty much empty hairpin in SS5/8 and were able to shoot from the roadside, a couple meters away from the cars (which was relatively safe given the layout). This shot of Elfyn Evans' Fiesta was taken with a Canon 1300D at F7, 800ISO and a shutter speed of 1/80. I...

Monster Meeting

This shot was obvious. Ducati Monster with some Monsters!
Lightpainting and flash combined, multiple Shots of course.
Shot with Canon 70d and Fenix LD60 flashlight.
Note: they are vegetarians!

1970 Dodge Challenger Composite (with time lapse)

I often struggle with composites and find them hugely difficult to get the correct angles and perspectives, but I have found that shooting for the backplate (rather than finding the right backplate for your shot) proves far more successful. This also giving you more insight into how and where to light the car accurately for the environment....

Audi A4 rolling shot

Hey everybody
It's Cedric here again. I've done my first rolling shot and i'm not sure if i should add more reflections on the car.
Btw: This is no virtual rig, only radial blur. CC is welcome.

Bagged Mustang GT350

Rookie mistake: I was unfortunate to not have my tripod and a CPL (it broke) but for a single exposure I'd like to think this isnt terrible. The kicker is myself and a friend just kind of stumbled across this location while this shoot was taking place and we just kind of shot the car where it was positioned.

2018 Saleen S302

This is the much overlooked 201 Saleen S302 which contains 700+HP. But as much of Saleen's vehicles this one has been forgotten by most enthusiast except saleen enthusiasts and SoCal Mustang lovers. I love the way this looks but for the price tag of $73k I'd much rather purchase a used Shelby GT350R for $65k. What are your thoughts on this car...

Porsche Collage

What’s your favorite car brand or car in general! One that whenever you see it in person you just can’t wait to drive!? Mine is definitely a Porsche Cayman GT4 ClubSport!

the 80s

85 bmw 524td. a banger. old, noisy and crappy. but theres nothing else like cruising thru the dust towards the sunset with the sunroof open, classic nardi wheel in your hand and "voodoo child" blasting to the speakers.
