This image had some banding issues. I think I have it fixed and thought I'd try it out again. It is oil floating on water in low light. I was going for a very abstract black and white image with just the edges and lines of the oil visible.
A while back I posted a shot of the shadow of grass on a guardrail. I received some helpful feedback so when I was at that location again today, I thought I'd try again. Well, the grass hasn't grown tall enough to cover the rail yet but there were some branches creating shadows. Here goes take 2!

My goal for them was to make them look like they are riding huge waves when in reality...
Just for fun, I thought I'd share a little survey of one of my favorite locations. I enjoy seeing where you all have been and this seemed like a fun idea. These are all from Sandy Hook, NJ. The old military base is a gold mine for photography. There is so much to see that you can't even do it in a day. Maybe even more.

In a small town of Peru this blind harpist carries his harp from home to marketsquare on his back. He has done this for 30 years.
He will play for any who wish to listen.
That's dedication !
In a long narrow corridor full of cells for convicts, a lone skylight far above set in a concave ceiling offers very little natural light.
(Edited - I think I fixed the issue Phil pointed out)
This interesting plant grows in the shallow water in my area. it's upright leaves are an architectural gold mine.
