Few passes with some diffused LED light, nothing too fancy
I'm new to the group but have watched Fstoppers for a while. I like to light paint most if not all of my cars. I'm based out of San Diego and am interested in growing and evolving my automotive photography.
Built by MAP Tuning, West Yorkshire (UK). Includes Whipple Supercharger, Kooks exhaust, Steeda styling and Velgen wheels.
Light-painted with Tavor lightwand.
Someone came to a local MX5 meet with this beauty and I tried light painting it with what I had at hand, that is to say my phone's flash. It's only one exposure as I couldn't get more without people around it. Any advice on how to properly light the car during the exposure rather than just waving the light around hoping for the best?
A good friend of mines very clean R34.
Comments and feedback are welcomed always.
I took this photos outside in a parking lot. This is a five photo composite. Just like to see what everyone have to say about it.
So this is my first time using a big boy strobe for automotive photography. I'm still very much an amateur but love shooting my car. I'd love some feedback on taking these images to the next level and make them more interesting.
- Canon EOS RP

Just recently I was scrambling through Fstoppers videos and had see one on taking portraits of toy cars and making them look real! When I seen this, I went back in my folders, because I had did such two years ago trying to please my kids by making a poster of my oldest son's toy Eleanor mustang. Using the neighbors trees across the street and...
Shot this one today. It's part of a series of photographs about it's owner. Would like to hear your thoughts!
Rookie mistake: I was unfortunate to not have my tripod and a CPL (it broke) but for a single exposure I'd like to think this isnt terrible. The kicker is myself and a friend just kind of stumbled across this location while this shoot was taking place and we just kind of shot the car where it was positioned.
So I was attending a mountain bike event at Canada Heights MX track and some geeza turned up in this pretty stunning Lotus. Hats off to you mate.

I had the I-PACE on loan from JLR last week. Totally loved it! Of course, made a load of images for them too.
Hello to All Fstoppers as im new here this is my first post, I shoot this A4 for one of our local Car detailing shop, used light painting method here with more then 20 exposure merged together to create this final result.
A static shot of a Porsche Cayman GT4, picture is made using pixel shift technology on a Sony A7Riii and got through some post processing.
This was shot at a light painting workshop with Larry Chen. Very helpful and a pleasure to shoot these cars.
I jokingly requested someone light paint a red, white, and blue flag behind this Shelby Daytona thinking it would be too hard. But when I got back my computer I decided to try combining a pass of pure blue and one of pure red. The...
I took this during the 100 Acre Wood Rally in Salem, MO. This Ford Fiesta was driven by Ken Block's wife Lucy (she did better than he did).
I've always loved the 80s and especially the revival of the music Retro Wave. I've had an urge to create this image for as long as I can remember but never had the time nor the resources to do it.
Unfortunately, I am not expert in this area, and I don't know which this car is, even who is the manufacturer (randomly photographed in Dubai).
Can someone who is experienced based only on this photographed part know the brand of this car?
