Shot on Canon EOS 5DMK2, 24-105 F4.0, Speedlite 580EX
Shot on a Nikon D800 with a 17-35mm f/2.8 and light-painted with a Litepanels Astra LED panel with around 8-16 exposures for each image.
A selection of images from my recent session with a MSO McLaren 570S. For the first 3 images, the entire scene was lit using an Impact Litetrek 4.0 strobe with the reflector to create the shadows and light the foreground and background. The car itself was lit with the same strobe, bare bulb to create harsh contrast and bring out the metal flake...
Worked on this photo shoot with a good friend of mine, trying to capture something that would work with his business.
A few pictures from last weekends London to Brighton Veteran car run. Having covered this event for several years I have found a location which is rural and devoid more or less of street furniture.
A pair of Alfa Romeos at a recent Track Day at Goodwood. The white car was shot through debris fences.
Final images from a session with a privately owned Porsche 911 Turbo in late August. Shot with a Nikon D750/Tamron 24-70, lighting provided by an Impact Litetrek 4.0 and an Ice Light
Two Ford GT's of Chip Ganassi Racing Team approach a turn as the sun begins to set during the 2018 24 Hours of Daytona.
This photo was processed for dramatic effect - emphasis was placed on the livery color, the long shadows cast across the ground, and the detail in the dirt/damage on the cars themselves.
I liked how the...
Wanted to share this quick shot - I love the Daytona banking and the unique perspective it provides for motorsports. Couple this with night ambiance and the glowing exhaust (and sometimes rotors) from the vehicles and you can usually get a dramatic shot or two.
I appreciated you guys looking at the Corvette shot but the feedback was to offer more than just a single detail shot. This is the complete photoset I'm proudest of. These were also shot at a Cars and Coffee event but the car was parked away from the main event and I got some nice alone time with it. The spotlessly clean paint and morning light...
Hello everyone, I am very excited to be a new member to the Fstoppers community. I have been shooting for a little under 2 years. Still a newbie but learning and growing everyday.
This is my first automotive shot and i'm pretty happy with it. Shot from a skyway at a drag strip above the starting line through a retaining fence.
So a little bit of multiple exposure blending and speedlight hits and this is what I came up with... time to invest in a strobe though.
Took this at the local Mercedes dealership, Tristar Mercedes Moncton. Experimented with this a little in elements, the wall colour was changed from silver and lens flare add some imperfections were removed.
Other than the background, anything to make the picture feel more dynamic and capture the aggressiveness of the car?
I'm very new to photography but not new to cars. With only a few weeks of shooting my new camera I'm trying to draw on the latter experience to highlight what I think are the interesting angles and features of cars I'm familiar with. Hopefully to compensate for my lack of photographic experience :)
So with that, what...
I was attending a car show on the beach in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, when among the customary shined and buffed classic cars I stumbled across this "frankenstein".
The car started life as a high end 1949 Cadillac Model 62 Sedanette (what a mouthful!). As you can see, the roof has been severely chopped, the body lowered to within an inch...
