How I Shot This Photo!
The thing I love the most about compositing images, is that it can take you several realities away. Endless possibilities in creation.
I created this image as a test of lights and shadows.
Background shooted on an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere, beside a road (very creepy place).
Model image from Deviantart (faestock).
Do you often wander off into your own thoughts? do you daydream and “zone out” many times a day? do you always talk to yourself in your head almost to the point that you are living inside your head instead of out in the real world?
If so, then you’re not alone!
Sin City style is something I get requested a bit from clients. I was pretty happy with the way these ones came out.
Shot on a Nikon d610 on a bluescreen.
Shot that for a local ad campaign. Experimented with compositing and hand drawing (the sharks are drawings). The model has been photographed from the front and from the back to get that reflection. The water has been photographed using a fish tank with some blue-gelled lights.
The lighting on the model is with two lights: a blue-filtered...
I don't know about you, but I like to have fun when I shoot. One day I was thinking about the subject of my next shoot. Now, I have had people say that I'd make a good Logan, so I thought, what the heck, let's do it.
A friend of mine had a pair of really convincing Wolverine blades which I used during the shoot. I also thought I'd get...
I've been practicing my special effects in photoshop. I think I'm at a point where I really like how its coming out. These are all 6 inch scale action figures against real physical dioramas or whats known as a digirama where the background is a monitor or TV of some sort displaying an image to act as the background.
What do you guys...
Compositing I did for a photographic exhibition "everything is possible", of which I am a photographer and responsible for the team of photographers. Involvable (https://www.invulnerables.org) In the year 2014, Sor Lucía Caram proposes, from the Fundació Rosa Oriol to the Government of the Generalitat, to set up a pilot program at the level of...
Looking to hear your thoughts on this conceptual photo, I shot recently. It was created with a combination of composite work and prop building, all parts of the composite were shot in the same very cold 1 hour session at the end of the day.
This is a composite of three shots: the main night sky taken in Arches NP at 3 am, the camera and tripod taken in my house some window light, and the little image of the sky placed on the back of the camera.
Composited from various pictures.

I'm Louis Janssen, photographer from The Netherlands, and joined this group yesterday. So quite recent. My main interests are model- fashion- and product photography. In the past 2 years I focussed more and more on a combination of model- and product photography and got interested in compositing and manipulation. I will post...
I am working on a new series now which is called 'Healing inner wounds'.
The first photo is called 'Spread love' and the second is called 'Release the fear'.
Through photos I am trying to remind to myself what I want to improve about myself. I don't want to be afraid any more and I want to share love with this world.
