Foggy Lake

My Grandmother was an artist, and she was passionate about painting and about teaching me how to appreciate art. Photography was never her medium, but she enjoyed early mornings, the beauty of nature, and sharing that with others. One painting I have hanging in my room is of a foggy lake in the morning, with a mountain in the back and an island in the front. For months, I have been trying to draw inspiration from that photo, and I think I have finally achieved a fitting tribute to my grandmother, who taught me to appreciate art.
