Here's a location on Vancouver Island that I constantly revisit. Due to all the deadfall and chaotic environment, it's a hard place to shoot. However, I think I finally came away with an image that I'm happy with.
My buddy Jacob Klassen initially spotted this area last spring when we ventured out to this location, so credits him for finding this spot! We both loved the diagonal lines caused by the fallen tree trunks, along with the overall balance of the frame created by the surrounding trees and ferns.
I hope you enjoy it!
