Colors in the Dust

From my backyard in Portland. Taken with at 530mm FL, F5.0, using narrowband filters that only transmit Hydrogen, Oxygen, and Sulfer wavelengths. 22 hours of exposure time.

Formally known as SH2-132, this nebula is made of shells of gasses and dust blown by powerful stars. In the upper right what appears to be a tiny ring is likely an hourglass shape we see at an angle. This is a single star ejecting these gasses from it's poles.
