A few days ago, in one of our morning wanderings chasing waterfalls, we came across this little gathering of mushrooms.
This little community had found a perfect habitat on the branch of a tree that a storm would have knocked down some months before. A perfect place to settle down, surrounded by moss and moisture.
They didn't raise more than 3 centimeters from the bark of the tree but they caught my attention immediately.
I took a lot of photos to get each and every mushroom in perfect focus for maximum sharpness and definition. Canon 100mm F2.8 Macro got some truly good sharp shots and really nice smooth bokeh.
